Meet our Administrative Analyst and S4 Database Specialist, Nicole T. Linton
Nicole Linton is a hardworking, authentic professional with extensive administrative project management experience. She thrives in her current position at California State University, Northridge where she now serves as the Service Learning Analyst in the Office of Community Engagement.
Nicole studied Marketing and Product Development at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles, which helped cultivate her creative business practices.
Nicole has a heart for service and a love for her community. You can find her volunteering with community organizations throughout the San Fernando Valley including MEND - Meet Each Need with Dignity, where she has served as a board member since 2014.
Ms. Linton has cultivated meaningful relationships in the community and built lasting partnerships for CSUN as well as creating learning opportunities for students. Her exemplary contributions helped CSUN earn California State University, Northridge the 2014 Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll award through the Corporation for National & Community Service. CSUN has since been acknowledged every following year.
Nicole Linton has been instrumental in developing CSUN’s S4 Database. The database removed barriers previously preventing faculty from participating in service learning by streamlining the off campus placement process for students and capturing CSUN’s impact in the surrounding communities. The positive impact of the S4 Database has been immeasurable to campus, and was expanded to include Field Trips and Internships as well as used as a model for other CSU campuses, earning Nicole the Cal State University S4 Development Award for her contributions to the S4 system throughout the state in 2017.
Nicole Linton is an authentic leader who identifies with CSUN students as well as the community surrounding CSUN, in which she was raised. She is inspired by the gifts CSUN students have and is continually learning from them. Nicole is looking forward to meeting new challenges and using her expertise to serve in her role at California State University, Northridge and its surrounding communities.
